Members of Mediability Ireland tell us what they’ve got from their involvement with the group:

What I have got from my involvement with Mediability Ireland is the chance to put into practice what I have learned from various media courses I’ve taken in college.  It’s great meeting people who are already well established in the industry and are happy to share their knowledge with us – Gina Lu

Since the group started I have made lots of new friends and gained a better knowledge of how the media works. Also I have found that my confidence has grown both in my personal life and in my writing – Jenny Kerr

I have gained confidence in my ability to write.  It has given me the platform to learn and share my experiences with others through articles I’ve written. It has also given me the confidence to share my message/experiences further afield at conferences in Europe – Jane Fennessy

My involvement with the Mediability Ireland has allowed me to develop the interest I’ve always had in writing and it’s opened up my circle of friends. I always look forward to our Media Group meetings and thoroughly enjoy each session learning about different aspects of the media and catching up with my friends – Rachel Creevey

Being involved in the Mediability Ireland has allowed me to develop my skills in writing. I have also made some new friends. I am very grateful to be involved in the Group – Laura Leeson

Since joining Mediability Ireland I have met some inspirational people from the world of television and print media. It has really opened my eyes to the possibilities that exist in the areas of writing and journalism. I have had the opportunity to write articles from genres I would never have had the confidence to try before – Edwina O’Leary
